need to be a mentor and a guide to your students who are relying on
you. You need to be professional, dedicated and have a strong desire
to succeed. Does this sound like you? Not everybody can be a Driving Instructor and we at A.D.S. (Scotland) Ltd make no promises that you will become one, even if you do start the training course. What we can do is offer an assessment and based on this we can advise you as to which choice is the correct choice for you. Read on for some information about the role of the Driving Instructor and information on the training course. If that sense of achievement wasn't enough, look at some of the other
benefits of becoming a Driving Instructor.
The opportunities for a qualified Instructor are endless - all it takes is a little imagination and a desire to succeed. There are numerous fields in driver training which you can work - L Test, Instructor Training, Fleet Training, Off Road Training, PCV or HGV Training to name but a few. In fact anybody who drives any type of vehicle needs an Instructor.
A strong desire to succeed is the first step on the road to becoming a DSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). If you are determined and prepared for hard work then A.D.S. (Scotland) Ltd can provide the complete training package to help you become an ADI. Paying for a PDI Training course does not guarantee that you will become an ADI despite the false claims of "guaranteed passes" offered by some training companies. It takes a structured course, sound knowledge and an experienced trainer. We can guarantee you that - the rest is up to you. So why not give us a call to arrange your training and you too can be… Driving Towards Success Part 1 - £375 A complete home study course with tutor support, including the following:
Plus all these essential reading materials:
15 hours of tuition on a one to one basis designed to help the student achieve the required standard to pass the ADI part 2 - Driving Test. The standard required is very high. On the test you must satisfy
the examiner on your:
Part 3 - £1600 40 hours of tuition, again on a one to one basis designed to help achieve the required standard to pass the ADI part 3 - Teaching Test. Again the standard required is very high. You must demonstrate your ability to pass on your knowledge through practical teaching. The examiner playing the role of a student learning to drive tests this. Your training will guide you in how to structure the lessons, pass on your knowledge and how to correct any faults, which the "student" may make. Each stage is paid for separately. This means that you can spread
the cost of your training and also means that you do not have to pay
for training that you do not receive if you fail at the Part 1 or
Part 2 tests. Unlike some training companies who charge between £2500 and
£3000 for less training hours and have a no refund policy. [Home] [About us] [Vehicles] [Instructor Training] [Pass Plus][Intensive Courses]
